Running an all inclusive pool service in the MIA/SoFlo area and curious what others charge. My customers pay 1 flat monthly fee that covers weekly maintenance and chemicals. What's the going rate for similar services?

from my experience, the price here in Virginia is around $100 to $250 per month (maintenance + chemical) other states can be different

Right? Pricing can really vary by spot. Always good to get a feel for local rates before committing. Curious too, where exactly in Miami those deals are popping up?

Anywhere between $140-$250 really. Are most of your clients residential, or do you also service commercial properties? That can shift pricing quite a bit.

For now, we're entirely focused on residential clients. When pricing a commercial pool, what are the main variables that increase the rate compared to a residential one? @moonriver467

if you're new in this business, I'm guessing you'll might want to lower the rates just a tad to get clients interested in hiring you. Not super cheap, but enough to get people interested.

That's a pretty standard way to get started and I get why it works for some. I've focused more on making sure the service is reliable and the quality's there. In my experience, people shopping only on price can be tougher to work with. Do you think lowering rates attracts loyal clients or brings in customers who leave for the next cheapest option? @Smoothsailer
